“Media and Marketing for Middle School” Speaker Lineup Announced

Springfield, MA (10-16-09) Garvey Communication Associates Inc. (GCAI) announced the lineup of media experts presenting at the 2009 “Media and Marketing for Middle School” series held at the Zanetti Montessori School in Springfield, MA.

John Garvey, GCAI president and series co-founder, kicked off the the vocational mentoring program now in its 6th year at the school on September 18th. Other presenters include:

GCAI will announce additional dates and speakers as the program progresses.

In 2005, a Zanetti Middle School teacher contacted GCAI and requested help teaching her students about career choices. In response, Mary Fallon, John Garvey, and Sue Barron created “Media and Marketing for Middle School,” a series of tours and presentations by local media experts. Past highlights include tours of the Republican, GCAI offices on the 24th Floor of Tower Square, and CBS 3 TV studio, a pizza party at Langone Studios, and video project honoring graduating 8th grade students.
