PeoplesBank Donates Over $100,000 To Springfield Organizations

September '08: PeoplesBank opened its 15th office on Monday, September 8th with the announcement that they would donate $113,200 to seven charitable and civic organizations based in Springfield, MA. The new office, located at 1240 Sumner Avenue in Springfield, is the Bank's second Springfield location. Two years ago, PeoplesBank opened an office in the Sixteen Acres section of the City with a $75,000 donation to the Greenleaf Community Center. In opening this office, PeoplesBank will make donations to American International College, Rachel's Table, ReStore Home Improvement Center, Springfield Falcons, Springfield Public Forum, Springfield Symphony, and Urban League of Springfield. PeoplesBank, the largest community bank in Hampden and Hampshire counties, now has two full service offices and several freestanding ATM locations in Springfield. The Bank has opened four new offices in the last two years. GCAI also assisted PeoplesBank recently when they announced plans to build an office in Northampton at 300 King Street. Garvey Communication Associates Inc. provided Public Relations and Net Media Buying Services for the entire grand opening campaign. Ad creative was provided by Hurley Chandler and Chaffer of East Providence, Rhode Island.
