Social Media This Week (11/3/09): Local Facebook Statistics, New Twitter Lists Feature

There are currently 115,300 Facebook users 18 and older living within 25 miles of Springfield MA. That’s up 4.5% in just 9 days!

There are also 407,460 Facebook users 18 and older within 50 miles of Springfield, and 78,380 Facebook users 18 and older within 10 miles of Springfield.

Twitter has finally released the Twitter Lists feature. Currently each Twitter account can create up to 20 lists, and each list can include up to 500 users. These are a great way to organize all of the people/businesses you follow.
