This Week in Social Media (1/19/10): Twitter Growth Slows Down, New Share Feature on Facebook

In December of 2009 Facebook saw 132 million unique U.S. visitors.

Facebook has changed their “Share” feature. Now when you choose to “Share” either a photo, video, or link posted by a friend or a Page you are a fan of, Facebook will generate a mention and a link to the profile or Page who posted the information you chose to share.

HubSpot released a report today on Twitter’s user growth. In October of 2009 the user base grew 3.5%. This is a big decline from the 13% growth it had in March 2009.
