This Week in Social Media (1/26/10): Adults Posting to Social Networking Sites and Facebook's US Audience Doubles

In a recent article from The Wall Street Journal, they announced that 1/3 of adults now post to sites like Facebook and Twitter at least once a week. They also stated that only 17% of Internet users do NOT participate in any social networking at all.

According to comScore: Facebook more than doubled its U.S. audience from 54.5 million visitors in December 2008 to 111.9 million visitors in December 2009. They also stated that Facebook now accounts for 7% of all time spent online in the U.S.

HubSpot has announced that most people tweet at the end of the work week - on Thursday and Friday.
